But I found this track to be quite beautiful and still in the area of a Violet A. Foster release. Almost like a peaceful moment in a ominous sinister world.

Weightless (w/Soular Child) [single]
Collaboration of two ambient heavy hitters. Soular Child bringing the light dancing piano. Violet A. Foster delivering a smooth ambient wall of sound ambient texture. Themes of floating, dreaming and just drifting away on the cloud. A much more brighter tune than you would normally hear from Violet, but for this month it seems several aliases are wearing masks. More classic dark ambient from Violet A. Foster later this year.

The Backrooms OST
I wanted to create a soundtrack to “The Backrooms.” The idea of an endless maze that is just beyond our reality is quite inspiring. I’ve always been enthralled by things like this, from slenderman/marble hornets, to the SCP foundation. These ‘internet urban myths’ are so fun and creative I felt like I had to contribute. The album is a blend of light and dark drone ambient. I feel like after years of blending and warping I’ve finally honed in on my style of ambient. Big thanks to NoProblemaTapes for the split digital release. Without their help I wouldn’t have been able to sell out of tapes within 24 hours. First time ever doing tapes all on my own! More physicals being planned for the future. Thanks to everyone who supported this album!

Post-Spirit
Dark and expressive drone-ambient; the classic Violet A. Foster approach with a twist. These were fully created songs I’ve written with the sole intention to massively distort and warp until they were completely unrecognizable; and that is how I got ‘Post-Spirit.’ There is a lot more movement and variety of textures than normal in at Violet release. This is all steps into advancing the project into new experimental paths. An attempt to truly create something out of nothing. Somewhat of a "let the chips fall where they may" approach.

About Four Months
After the first release for Violet, the process of obtaining her signature sound was somewhat an anomaly. Through warping and destroying sound About Four Months came to be. From slow glitchy synths to thick layers of noise and sound design. Just as sleepy as the first release if not more.

Before I Met You
A collaboration of the <1 remix project and myself. Taking tracks from WAVE COMPLEX and H A C E and turning them into long experimental ambient noise tracks. These are really gritty and have a flavor I haven't dabbled with yet. Feels like a horror video game.
