Kiko Kaid - Sleepy Cabin

Kiko Kaid returns with a new collection of sleepy lofi tunes. Heavy use of pads and extremely washed out vocal layers to give each track a floating airy feel. Each track is lead by either some clean noodle guitar melodies, or multiple layers of keys and piano. All meshed together with very subtle and sleepy beats, multiple layers of reverb, field recordings and ambient swells.

Talplex - Garden

Talplex is finally back with a strong follow up EP/mini album. Otherworldly sounds and beats to take you back in time - in space - all whilst in a computer program. These hypnotic grooves are filled with layers of synths and pads alongside some bass guitar pairing with synth bass to give a retro-futurism vibe. The project continues creating psychedelic textures and synth like sounds through a plethora of vocal tracks - which are the driving focus and lead melody to most tracks on Garden.

Violet A. Foster is back with another skin crawling dark ambient album. Continuing the same "beauty in the dark" approach from their previous release "moments." - starting with"Retrocognition" ... a long dark fall into the 2nd chapter that is "Pale". A host of beautiful, organic sounding swells and ambiance, with subtle drone melodies wisping you to a daydream disassociation or just to sleep.

Kiko Kaid - Cupp [single]

Written in 2019. Normally I would label something like this as a H A C E beat. But the heavy use of grooving percussion, and plethora of dreamy piano melodies certainly lean more towards a Kiko Kaid tune. Not to mention the smooth drum fills and groove change up halfway through, point more to a Kiko tune as well. 2023 remastered.

H A C E; Suri Sunriser - soul sunner [single]

The groovy lofi heads of FKC come together to sun your soul. Quite a perfect collaboration of Suri's bright and lounge-like sax melodies with jazzy chords carrying the track. H A C E brings some light electric piano leads and plenty of background ear candy. Paired with some darker sounding sax lines as well. Also utilizing cityscape field recordings and with beach waves throughout.

Imisu - Far Flight Home (Deluxe Edition)

Imisu is back with another full album. Continuing off of the vibes and themes from "Long Drive Home" - "Far Flight Home" is a warm and optimistic experience. Consisting of only guitar, aesthetic textures and nostalgic melodies. Using a plethora of effect pedals and production techniques to create such subtle lullabies. All the while still delivering that signature Imisu sound. A satisfying & mature follow up to this project's discography.

H A C E - small world [single]

Melancholic and dreamy jazzhop tune from H A C E. Using a blend of soft instruments with live samples to create some warm chocolatey ear candy. Paired alongside light warped piano and some dreamy filtered chords repeated throughout. Overall still has that classic dark and brooding undertone you'd find in most H A C E beats. Themes of complacent suburbia, moody nostalgia and dreams.

GoldEater - UnEarthed

Intense, dark and brooding. GoldEater is back again with a 3 track release. Utilizing a mix of distorted guitars, industrial drums, synths, noise textures and experimental percussive hits. Marked kicks off the EP with a solid groove and tasty riff. Leading more on the industrial-rock side, to eventually progress into the classic experimental / avant garde clusterfuck that is GoldEater with the gooey middle track "Making Waves." Wrapping up the EP we have "The Story Will Continue" - a small call back to the psychedelic side of this project. Using pads and piano alongside some distorted textures and head nodding drums is the perfect top off to the UnEarthed.

Just the Architects - Plant Kitchen EP

Held onto some of these tracks for a while! Indie hypnagogic jangle whatever tunes. Melancholic and moody vocals with delay psych guitars or distorted melodies. Bass guitar seems to do whatever it wants the whole EP. Drums are chill and laid back, typically just serving the song. Themes range from carefree attitudes and relationships. EP features remix of “Bee-Haw” from L a z u l i _ y e l l o w.

Imisu - Grace [single]

An epilogue track to the latest Imisu EP "Sundown" - "Grace" brings the twinkle and a bit of the experimental and psychedelic back into focus. Whilst still having that grounded down-to-earth vibe found on "Sundown." "Grace" is a slow build using soft chugging chords, blooming effect swells and guitar flutters. Halfway through it reaches this precipice where the guitars open up to this airy picking melody alongside with the progressing swells.

Dark distorted ominous cinematic ambient / noise from Zihn. Experimental textures and synths littered throughout. A whirlpool of sound and textures that can be only described as a transportive soundtrack from an art film that doesn't exist.

Imisu - Sundown

Sundown is a 4 track EP consisting of smoothing guitar melodies and textures. Unlike previous Imisu releases "Sundown" gives the psychedelic and experimental sounds a backseat to give the listener and grounded experience. A blend of melancholic and meditative themes and vibes, all driven by clean electric guitars. "Your Own Life" ends of the EP with a full composition. Using a plethora of guitar effects to give pad and synth like textures. Also the only track featuring light percussion and a few bits of ear candy.

Aura Lynd - Distance Doesn’t Matter (ft. Spiral Sounds) [single]

This was such a fun tune to write! Francis (Spiral Sounds) in the post chorus absolutely destroys. Glad to be in this style of songwriting with this project. Pumping dance-y drums and groove, funky indie guitar layers and fun synth/lead/horn outro! Been sitting on this tune for a year and some change, finally getting around to releasing everything from the backlog this year!

DIRECT-TO-DARK - Aqueous Vol. 1

First full release from DIRECT-TO-DARK. A mesh collection of liquid drum n bass tunes. A cumulation of everything the project has been building up to. Aqueous [Vol. 1] brings intricate and intense upbeat fast beats with a range of character. All the while projecting a laidback attitude and delivery. Written in the span of two years give or take. Songs are synth and pad heavy with melodic riffs and bass grooves. Knocking upbeat drum patterns and loops driving the songs into a cacophonous blend of sound. drum n bass n synth.

Dark and brooding ambient collaboration between myself as "Yiddle" and my Canadian buddie Blaned. Live piano improv mixed with some synths and subtle textures. Reminiscent themes of liminal spaces, mallsoft and nature all blurred together in this peaceful 3 track EP.

Incorporating long tailed reverbs and a blend of soft strings and synths. Creating these smooth and sleepy swells. Inspired by "Inside the Great Deku Tree" from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time OST.

Carefully crafted electronic downtempo IDM beats with a flair of vaporwave from _XPRESSWINDOW. Some of my best cohesive work to date. Grooving beats with unique instrumentation and performance on each track. A balancing act of smooth and dreamy vibes with several layers of drums and percussion. Using multiple flavors of synths and pads throughout the album keep each track different and interesting.

Brave Yellow World is a spacious and eclectic bath of tunes. Written in a little over a year; some tracks I've had for a while and finally touched them up ready for a full album release. BYW starts with a good blend of vaporwave / mallsoft. Then a mix of upbeat and colorful vapor-synth / slushwave vibes. The third and final section wraps up the album with a contrast of sparkling bubbly slush/vapor tracks alongside some of the more ominous tracks on the album. Suri Sunriser - Dinner @ Owl Lounge

Dinner with You:
laid back lounge tune from Suri Sunriser. Jazzy piano lead paired with some distant guitar grooves and melodies. The two compliment each-other like a slow dance over top of the farfisa/wurlitzer chords. All being glued together by a steady drum machine tight beat and light percussion.

Owl Lounge:
follow up to Rougelike ~ another laid back lounge tune from Suri Sunriser. Bringing back some vibes from "Beta Grounds" using dusty boom bap beats along side several different layers and textures of keys. The melodies build and catch up together throughout the track before light electric guitar steals the vibe with its small accompaniment, truly adds a lot to the track and is a great contrast from the key leads. Soft pads and bass guitar keep the song moving along slowly and smoothly.

DIRECT-TO-DARK - Now Why Would Anyone Soak a Rope In Kerosene

New DnB single from DTD. This tune features my new tongue drum that I'll be incorporating on some ambient tunes later on. Felt great to have it used in something full of energy.
