Another hybrid collaboration from H A C E. This feature is _XPRESSWINDOW. Supplying bright and wide sounding leads pairing with some light piano layers. H A C E brings a minimal lofi/chillout beat & gentle shakers. Together their chord progression and layering create a unique sound, bringing forth both projects' fortes.

Carefully crafted electronic downtempo IDM beats with a flair of vaporwave from _XPRESSWINDOW. Some of my best cohesive work to date. Grooving beats with unique instrumentation and performance on each track. A balancing act of smooth and dreamy vibes with several layers of drums and percussion. Using multiple flavors of synths and pads throughout the album keep each track different and interesting.

_XPRESSWINDOW - Cult Classic [single]

A new era to this project. Capturing the dissociating blurriness typically found in a _XPRESSWINDOW song and pushing it to the background. I wanted to feature really fat reverberated beats in these new songs and bring the energy to a danceable level. Cult Classic is filled with some memorable synth melodies and easily some of the hottest grooves I’ve showcased via this project.

_XPRESSWINDOW & Vivi Vulture - JUMPSTAR [single]

Almost like future disco? I don’t even know what that means. I just know this songs genre is very blended. Started as some electronic stems I sent to Vivi, then turned into this mixed bag of funky grooves. Featuring some amazing keyboard parts from Vivi Vulture including a solo towards the middle the of the song. Punchy drums and wide spacey synths are leaning to be the new _XPRESSWINDOW sound.

BODY OF LIGHT

A step into the otherworldly for _XPRESSWINDOW. Showing a softer side to this alias; keeping the energy meticulously tamed throughout the EP. The beat seeming almost invisible. The heavy use of side-chaining is hard to miss and gives rhythm and movement to each track in so many ways. Almost like the drums are the final cog to connect everything and have all the pieces work together seamlessly. In addition I used several textures of percussion and vocals to give it that ethereal and otherworldly vibe.

Cold, breezy, and driven. _XPRESSWINDOW is back with 3 new songs with an ambient mix to close the EP. From some chill IDM vibes, world music expressions, and chill electro-house drum patterns. This EP showcases and drives home this projects signature sound and will only continue to solidify in future releases. My favorite track “Breeze” takes you away into this environment that I can only describe as inhaling fresh cool air and floating away in the wind.

_XPRESSWINDOW peeps his head out once more this year with this single. Winter Waves captures the true vibe that is _XPRESSWINDOW is. Long drawn out instrumentation extremely washed out and almost bring a cold vibe. This short single is a good taste of what this project brings to the table.
